Anyone remember having to ride in a truck sitting on these as a kid?

My first truck had those. A '03 Ranger Edge.

We used to pile way too many people up in the truck

When I was a kid riding in the back of a truck meant this....

But I did have a 97 Chevy S10 with one of those seats.

Can’t remember the exact year, but my dad bought a Nissan truck with those kind of seats in the back. I was almost 6 foot tall at 13 years. That was one of the most miserable rides I’ve ever had in a vehicle.

You're being generous with that pic. I remember riding out to hunting locations in a then new 80's era Ranger Supercab 4x4 with side facing seats. The truck was great for the time and fun to drive, but the back area was better used for inside load space than taking 2 more people.
