Costco Kirkland brand are awesome. Typically under 40, and are as good as anything else on the market
I have bought their Kirkland Aviators for years. They're polarized and made in Italy, and are under $30. They used to have a very similar pair made in Japan too. But if you like that style, they're the best glasses your can buy for the money.
I recently went on either eBay or Amazon, and bought a pair (I think Costco's are illegal in Arkansas), and still paid under $40.

Check out Shady Ray's. I came across them through a friend. I bought my wife some bc she losses them all the time and never took care of her RB. They are great and cheap! Plus free replacement +$7 s/h if lost or stolen.

Look on eBay (watch out for fakes, though).

Military Aviator Sunglasses
I was issued these in 1968, I have worn them ever sense, keep a pair in all vehicles and carry a pair in my golf back and in my boats.
Inexpensive, work well, rims come in silver or gold

I buy shitty wayfarers on Amazon. They’re usually like $10 and come in a bazillion colors. They won’t protect your eyes from anything, but you can wakeboard in them or dive into the water with them with no worries at all
and look Don Johnson cool at any given moment, and that my friend is priceless

This is good stuff, but for the third time I'll ask if you think polarization is worth it?
I've never had it. These will be for driving

Go to Costco and get whatever they sell.

I drive a great deal for work (~30K-40K a year). I bought several pairs of polarized Costa’s from Sierra Trading Post and love them (I tend to prefer the 580 polarized). They allow you to see though the tinted windows of vehicles in front of you, actually help with visualization in low light situations and IMO help prevent eye fatigue. So yes I believe they are worth it and won’t buy anything but polarized going forward.

What about headaches or dizziness? The Maui Jims I had caused this
Could it just be that brand?

Shatter proof, osha compliant for the best eye protection from the sun and projectiles. Can also be used for shooting glasses and are decently priced

Do the lenses scratch easily against said projectiles?
