They told me 2-3 months. Once we put a deposit down it was a week.

We waited two weeks for a new Elantra that was already on the way to the dealership. The Mercedes we had a deposit on previously was going to be about a four month wait.

I ordered a Silverado 3500 crew cab SRW LWB on March 15, it came in Thursday.

And take down my wife’s picture, she’s actually very modest.

A guy I work with just bought a new full size GMC pickup. He didn’t have to order it. But as for now some features like his backup camera and heated seats don’t work due to a missing chip. GMC is selling trucks with some chips missing. Their plan is to do a recall once the chips become available and install them then.

I was looking at ordering a Escalade. But a lot of the dealers in FL are adding an extra 10k-20k to the price just bc the demand for em is so high. Curious if NOLA dealers are doing the same?

On average, it seems to be taking between 6-8 months, depending on supply chain issues. I

I handle a lot of the fleet where I work. We order a shitload of 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickup trucks ever year and I'd say the average lead time is 9 months.

I had a car held up for months for a steering wheel before. Anything can happen.

My wife was determined she wanted a Subaru Ascent. I told her to get literally anything she wanted. I really pushed for the Volvo XC90. She had her mind made up it had to be an Ascent limited in pearl white with Java brown leather interior. They told us mid-late July. This was 2 months ago and we haven’t heard anything since.

The real pisser is when the car is stuck in the shop waiting on parts for months, especially if it's warranty work. My new car got hit and parts were 2 months out....
Damn Putin.

I need advice on a good, reputable Chevy dealer in the Baton Rouge/Lafayette area.

We are about to place an order for a Suburban.

Do you know if it was the hybrid model or regular? The guy at the dealership said hybrids take longer for some reason?

My brother put a deposit down on a Bronco Sport that's already built. Says it's being delivered by railcar. Not expecting it for a month or more.
