I'm drinking so much coffee in the morning that I have been having raging headaches in the afternoon. Has anyone had similar experience and did quitting caffeine help?

Is quitting caffeine even possible?

Cold turkey is not the way to go. Try limiting your intake and stepping it down. Otherwise, you'll have even bigger headaches when you withdraw.

I don’t think so

If so it’s got to be harder than quitting smoking & that was hell

It would be easier for me to kick heroin than caffeine.

I have never quit, but have cut back dramatically- prepare for some really bad headaches for about 3 to 4 days.

May be better to switch to a half caf blend and ease into a reduced amount.

I used to drink coffee and cokes all day but I've cut way back.

I drink 2-3 cups of coffee from 6:30-9am or so and that's typically all of the caffeine that I have for the day. I don't have withdrawals or anything. I also have no intention of quitting my morning coffee either.

I've cut out energy drinks for the most part in my life after have a long stretch of drinking at least 2 per day but I still have a few cups of coffee every morning.

Wouldn't it be easier to just keep drinking coffee into the afternoon?

I want to cut back because I think my large intake is contributing to anxiousness and irritability. Or maybe I'm just at my covid breaking point don't really know

I see quitting a lot of vices as being productive and a good thing, but quitting caffeine? Eh, not so much.

No I enjoy my every morning.

On a similar note I kicked heroin cold turkey so I’m sure if needed be I could give up my daily cup of coffee.

Slowly reduce your intake. Do not try cold turkey, you will get some of the worst headaches of your life.
