Audi has better quality, styling, and technology.
You are okay with the "edgy Pontiac Aztec" look of the new Lexus?

I agree. The only issues I've ever noticed about Lexus/Toyota is their technology lags a few years behind other vehicles.

Why don’t you just drive a Toyota & save thousands of dollars. Do you know what the name of Lexus cars are in Japan? TOYOTA!!
Lexus IS only a marketing brand for the USA dumbasses that fall for it.
If you don’t believe me open the hood. On the engine is stamped Toyota. LOL
This isn't going to go the way you thought.....

Went and looked at them this morning. Think we might be leaning toward the Lexus. It had more room than the Q5. The 2020 Lexus has the new system (not sure what it is called) where you can use your apple or android phone for navigation etc.

Wife has GX...I buy vehicles to last so you can’t beat a Lexus or service dept. If she downsizes, it’ll prob be an RX.
If you lease go for a German but if you buy...Lexus & it’s not even close.

Any car engine with less than 100 hp per liter should last. That’s the magic number. Anything over is considered high performance and won’t last but will be fun as hell while it does.
Lexus doesn’t build any engines over.

My wife and daughter both bought the Infiniti QX50. Love it. Doesn’t hurt to look.

Surprised no one has mentioned the Acura RDX or MDX.

The Lexus quality is the best.
They are not as sporty as some others but they don't try to be. Just the best.
Sportiness, especially in a small SUV, is about at the top of my list. Plus, reliability in today's car is a much different conversation than it used to be. If you have major problems with a vehicle before it hits 80k miles, it's a piece of shite.
My brother has a Q5 and complains about it being too small. I've driven it and it's a joy to drive but it's definitely small...like can't fit golf clubs in the cargo space small. Have no experience with the Lexus but man, those things are ugly as shite, imo.

OMG! Lexus now has CarPlay, but I laugh at people who’s main concern is the fracking infotainment system! L...O...L

My dad's good friend is an audi mechanic, had a good talk with him when I was looking at getting one.
He said, "if you want something reliable for 10 years with minimal problems, get yourself the lexus or acura. If you want something nice for 3-5 years, but it'll be in the shop every few months get the audi.
Audi has improved their QC substantially the last few years, but read the forums...the issues they have always tend to become lemons its insane. I was looking at the S3 and I decided to not get one after doing more research
