Anyone own a Virtual Reality Oculus?

I was watching some videos on YouTube and I was impressed as hell with these things. They cost 300-500 dollars.
I saw one documentary where like 300 people committed suicide because the mod convinced them that real life is nothing but suffering. Turns out her boyfriend died or something and convinced everyone to drink some death juice.
It all looks really cool, but the nerd factor is quite high.

I have one. I tend to get motion sick with it, so it has been sitting in the box since January. I used it about 5 times.

I used the VR goggles that came with one of the Samsung phones I got at some point and it made me sick to my stomach after about 5 minutes of use.

My BIL has one and that was my experience with it. I did the roller coaster ride for like 10 minutes and I felt sick for half an hour or so afterwards. I haven't messed with it since

I have a pair and I got a game where your character puts on a set of VR goggles and you can play Roblox with 8-bit graphics.

I have one. It's great imo. Play Onward. VR version of counterstrike. Not a gamer historically, but really enjoy it (fun if you have kids or friends to play with, public rooms not for me). Motion sickness gets better if you play in short lengths and work your way up a bit. I'm 39, so not a young buck anymore. Still don't play for over an hour or so.

That fear is what has kept me away from VR in general. Some games make me motion sick playing on my 34" 3440x1440 monitor. I can only imagine how quickly I would get a splitting headache in VR.

They are great tech. I was thinking last night how awesome it would be to broadcast games in a VR ready mode so people could immerse themselves in it like they are at the stadium.
It could be an awesome PPV at $10 a head and generate a ton.
