Didn't he design Wrenwood off Jefferson?

I dont think so even tho those building have a Hays Town feel to them. But the Law office right past Wrenwood on Jefferson is a Hays Town house.

No, but its one of the ultimate status symbols if you live in BR or Lafayette.

Considering Southern Living's Architecture Awards are now named for him I'd imagine they'd be a status symbol throughout the South.

Lafayette.
Hays Town build numerous homes in the Lafayette/Abbeville area. You will know its a Hays Town home from the moment you step inside.

Actually - Al Jones, who worked for Hays Town for many years, has pretty much taken over the mantle of the Creole/Southern architect
In Lafayette, Architect Kevin Gossen is in the same genre.

I think the point being, most of his work is in Baton Rouge, with some in Lafayette.

I went to school with a couple of his grandkids. See them all the time. One lives in a home his grandfather designed.
You can always tell when you walk into a home Mr. town designed. It's got a unique look and feel all it's own

To anyone who posted in this thread that lived in a Hays Town home, currently lives, or know someone, or has drawings, etc. please contact me at the email below. We're working on an exhibition of his work and want to meet with you about this.
