I'd also like to know how old you are...and how long you kept that pace up.

Actually yes I haven’t gotten drunk in a month. Couple family occasions with a couple drinks but that’s it

Since May 1987.

The reason: One drink is too many, one hundred ain’t enough.

It's called not being an alcoholic and you're currently reaping the benefits. Don't let people who glorify alcoholism take this away from you

I’m down to 3 to 5 per week from 20+ a week a few years ago. I feel like a** if I have more than 2 beers or a half bottle of wine in a night. It hurts sleep quality a lot.

35. That pace lasted about 6 months. I had been 6-8 beers/night for probably 5-7 years then Covid hit and working from home made it worse. Bumped up to probably 8-12 for about a year and then it kicked up even more the last few months.

Towards the end, I was starting at lunch and not stopping till I went to bed. Rinse and repeat.

I took about two weeks off until last night. Had a few beers. I was drinking a handle of Tito’s a day at my worst. Thankful for progress.

And only at 5:00 or after, but of course it's usually 5:00 somewhere.
