I have two from a parent's first marriage. No real desire to as they live thousands of miles away.

I've met them all plenty.. haven't met all their kids yet but surely will at some point.

My mom said my father knocked up some black lady back in the 70s from his job before he left us. That’s all I got.

My BIL just found out a couple of weeks ago that he has a half-sister that’s like 20 years older than him.
I haven’t talked to him about it yet, so I’m not sure if he has plans on meeting up anytime soon, but they’ve spoken on the phone.

I just reached out to my 29yr old half sister that I haven’t seen or heard since she was three or four.. if I hear back from her again I’ll ask her if my bio dad had any more children after her.
AFAIK I have four siblings, three half one whole, but I only grew up with one of them.

The old man went into Japan in August of ‘45 with the Occupation Forces and stayed there until early ‘47.
I’m sure he got after some Nipponese tail there, he was an officer and 20 to 22 years old.
We had a press clipping from the Occupation Forces’ newspaper while he was over there about him delivering a Japanese woman’s baby while they were riding on a train. Doubt it was my half-sibling though.

Probably a lot of people have not met their half siblings because they don't know they exist.
A bunch dads out there praying their offspring never visit 23andme

I wish. Mine is a complete sociopath. When I would tell people who my half-sister was, there was always a slight pause in their face, and I knew what they were thinking...

I have at least three that I’ve never met, don’t know their names, and have no desire to pursue it at this stage of my life.

My dad has a son that I think I met when he was a baby but not really sure about that. Haven’t seen the other one that I would see on visits as a kid for over 30 years.

I lost contact with my half brother when we were young kids - due to our dad. I finally made contact with him on my own after probably 15-20 years. We even got together one day when he was visiting the states(he live over seas), we reconnected some, and he was able to meet my wife. Just that one visit.
He died in an accident less than a year later. I’m forever grateful for being able to see him again but goddamnit if it still hurts to think about all the time I missed with my brother.
