Anyone know of a company/service in Baton Rouge that delivers car batteries to a dead car?

Your car insurance might include road side assistance.

I jumped a guy off last night after he had been waiting for someone to help him for over an hour. Granted, he didn't have jumper cables.

I carry cables in my truck and needed a jump about a year ago. It's amazing how many people won't help you or look at you like a homeless man asking for money. I'm sitting there in a parking lot, hood up on my Tundra, cables in my hand....and 7 people walked by and said they couldn't help me. Finally a good baw hooked me up and was on his way in less than a couple minutes.

This. Go ask a neighbor for a jump start. Or a coworker if you're at work.

It is crazy. My wife had a similar situation. I mean, short lady with young kids, needing a jumpstart in a parking lot. Not like she's going to attack you. We keep a set of cables in each of our cars.

I've helped people jumpstart several times. Even stopped on the highway on my way back from the beach one time to help this elderly couple change a tire. Poor guy said they had been there 45 minutes and hundreds or thousands of cars fly by. He was struggling to bust the lug nuts loose with his little ratchet. I kept a 4-way in my Jeep and popped them off in under a minute, jacked up his little pickup and put his spare on for him. Took less than 10 minutes.

geez even out here in the middle of nowhere there are a couple auto repair businesses that offer road side assistance including on site battery replacement. surely in the city there are lots of options.

it really is amazing how people don't care about anybody but themselves now. I helped jump a guy at a gas station a couple months ago who had been waiting there for a while. It didn't even take 5 minutes but people wouldn't help him

Find a truck. Whoever owns a truck is 9 times more likely to help you than someone driving a car. I've helped at least 10 people who have asked. They always look for the guy in the pickup truck. They are just better humans

I would never walk away from someone who needed some assistance like that, it's just rude and what if that was your wife or sister or mom who needed the help?

Most people just don't care.

Do you have AAA? They will send a battery technician who can replace your battery on site

I pulled up to our hotel for the game on Saturday, this lady had been sitting there for over 30 minutes, in the street and not one person had offered her assistance. This was on Canal in the middle of the day, she was just crying in her car. Popped the hood and the cable had came loose, it took all of 45 seconds and she was on her way. People are dicks now a days.
