Evidently it was live betting that was pulled, at least that's what was written by a UF baseball writer. There was a big lag between the radio feed and the ESPN feed which caused the issue.

This is pure speculation but this is my guess. Lsu was a slight favorite from what I understand -245 on some sites and -1.5 on others which is kinda crazy with Skenes on the mound and tigers playing at home but whatever. Bama decided to pitch backwards against Skenes which means they pulled their normal Friday night pitcher with the thought process that they’re not going to win against Skenes anyway. Somebody on bamas team knew this before they announced it and may have told a few people back home and it was reported that 2 people in Ohio had HEAVY bets on the tigers when nobody bets heavy on college baseball. Lsu still ended up barely covering so their buttholes had to have been puckered in the 9th

The bottom line is that betting activity in Louisiana was normal so LSU/Louisiana bettors are not suspected of anything fishy.

I don’t think it was player or school related at all. Hell Bama was down like 6 runs when the issue started. Can’t really fix a game by telling a team to play extra hard and win

It’s kinda crazy how quick the betting apps are. A buddy and I were at a Tide Hoops game and we pulled up the ESPN and DraftKings app before a free throw to see which would update first. I swear the Draftkings app had the score and odds updated before the ball fully went down the net. It beat out the ESPN app by a solid 30 seconds
