It’s amazing you drive across the border from Alabama into Florida and there’s thousands of signs advertising the presence of Kratom. Do you use it as a stim or for its opioid properties?

Got a buddy that used it. Not sure if he still does or not. Mixed it with water and drank it. Said it was a tea. That’s all I know about it.

Got a friend that takes it almost daily and all I know is that he loves it but if he takes too much he spends a good amount of time puking.

I take it.
There’s real expensive kratom - $40 for 4-5 pills.
That shite will frick you up. I don’t take that anymore.
Too expensive and too strong.
I take the milder opms silver maeng da.
5 in morning, 5 at noon. Sometimes double that amount. It gives a mild stimulant. Not nearly as expensive.

Kratom somewhat gives the effect of an opiate.
Strong shite is like a nasty opiate.

Both. Kratom's proponents are on the same plane as potheads: It cures everything from cancer to itchy arsehole. (The potheads will be by shortly to take up for their miracle girlfriend.)

Just like pot, I use it at times. It works well for what it does: Gives you a kick, but it still has some fairly good pain relieving properties.

It's quite effective, and similar to heavy pot use (especially dabs and the like) it can be addictive and according to the internet, it has some pretty damn potent withdrawal symptoms, with one big one being restless leg syndrome- very very very bad restless leg syndrome.

Seems like I remember reading that it triggers some of the same neurons as opioids, hence its effectiveness in treating certain addicts. One of the closest people in my life was at the Betty Ford Clinic for 6 months, then halfway houses and follow up rehab programs, and he said that kratom has been used for years as a part of the arsenal for the rehabilitation of opioid addicts.

Take that bit of "hearsay" for what it's worth, but if it's even partly true then it will eventually be outlawed because, A) Even if it's slightly cutting into the bottom line of big pharmaceutical companies then they'll holla at their boy in D.C. to get him to squash it (they haven't been talking loud enough, yet), and/or B) Uncle Sam loves to legislate morals. Muh, gotta keep the people sAfE.

P.S. How your jet charter enterprise going?

Fly high, baw. The sky is the limit.

I can take a horse ride or two every once in awhile and stop. That aspect isn’t for me.

Heroin addicts take the strong shite to replace heroin.
Some might take weaker kinds as a way of getting off.
But I’ve seen many o junkie take it for the buzz.

I’ve tried it. Tastes terrible and takes a lot to feel any effects.

Huge leaves on trees native to areas like Borneo Thailand Indonesia etc. Leaves are cured and ground into powder. It made its way to the states largely due to the internet I imagine. I had no idea about it until then. Used to be you could only find it in at shops (head shops) now some decade later some Kratom product in most convenience stores it seems. I could see it being beneficial for withdrawals and pain relief/energy/mild euphoria for sure but on the other hand Kratom itself is habit forming. Use cautiously.
