Wife and I got covid around 7/28 and I've since long kicked it and am 100%, wasn't much of a thing for me. Never ran fever, like a mild flu or less. But it hit wifey HARD. Had her in bed for weeks. She had an antibody infusion also. She's better now but can't seem to kick the last little bit of congestion/cough. It's driving her nuts.

She's in her 30s, great shape, not overweight and has zero underlying conditions. She's in better shape than me.

Its fricking weird.

Hits every one differently.
Keep her on meds to reduce congestion
Breathing treatments and stay hydrated.

Good luck to her!

I thought it was 65+ or 55+ with comorbidities?

Honestly...she's not entirely out of the woods if you were infected around 07/28. Keep your eyes on her and check in with your doctor. Obviously to the ER immediately if she feels like she can't breathe.

Is it possible that it’s a secondary bacterial sinus infection?

I coughed for about a month after I started to feel better. Then, the cough went away suddenly. Very weird.

I do think they loosened up the criteria a few months back.

i me and my wife was sick for like 2 days....both had negative covid tests......i had congestion for about a month after, my wife has lost her sense of smell. taste for about 6 months now. we both tested positive for anti bodies.

Butthe past few years i have become more and more sensitive to spicy food to where i could barely eat Medium wings, or a single pickled jalapeno. But now, after covid, im back to eating the hottest of the hot and exploding toilets. frick yea.
