Those are pretty fricking ugly, as well as the Lexus SUVs.
If you are going to drop $70k on an SUV get a German one. Or an Escalade ESV if you have a trophy wife in W TX.

I drove the QX for 5 years and recently got rid of it. Looks good, very comfortable ride, waaayy behind technologically. The ongoing issue with Bluetooth syncing to iPhones and multi-device syncing was a PITA. Rolling out the same body style for the lower priced Nissan was a huge mistake.

This is how Mfg's get ROI- they will run this for a while and then Infiniti will come out with a new QX design-

Great vehicle. Wife couldn't decide between this and the Armada. Found a deal on an Armada I couldn't pass up so I decided for her, as is usually the case.

The RX 350 is ugly as sin now, which is a shame for my wife, because she really wanted one and we were planning on it as a next vehicle until they just went to far with the design.
the GX and LX are still awesome looking vehicles to me. Just more for a vehicle than we wanted to spend and absolutely didn't need that big a vehicle right now.
So you can basically only get a Mercedes (and I doubt you get it for 70k)? BMW, Porsche, Audi etc. don't make a full sized/larger SUV that is in the same class as the QX80 that I can think of off the top of my head.

Wife has a 2014 QX60 (we didn't need something that big). She likes it a lot.
Looked at QX80s and they are very nice and drive well. Well appointed. Not as big as Yukon/Tahoe that they compete with. Used to be built on the Armada platform, but they shifted about 4-5 years ago, so a much better ride.
Very pricey with the bells and whistles.

Yes.
They actually shifted the Armada to the QX80 platform.
