Yes and yes..

It can be a good experience , but i guess it's all in what you take out of it..

Bonus I do have friend of mine that went that route and now is an exec with the Disney Corp... food for thought

Back in January 1998 while on vacation there, I was sitting on a bench in Epcot when these two Disney suits came over and tried to recruit me. Apparently I was the right height and weight for the Goofy costume. I told them hell no; I wasn't wearing that damn thing in Florida summer heat while getting kicked by snotty kids.

One of the places most of them lives is called Vista Way or known better as "Vista Lay" for a reason
It's a huge apartment complex that only college kids live in, it's about the easily place to get laid on Earth, it's fantastic.

I'd suggest skipping the actual College Program, and if you want the experience, just show up, apply, and go work at DisneyWorld.

Buddy of my son's did this. He wanted to be a chef. He got onto the Disney Cruise Program, they did send him to school taught him to cook etc etc, and he worked on the ships. He loved it, worked a lot , but the employees down there have their own island to party on and what not. The pay isn't great, but he enjoyed it nonetheless. He's not a chef in Las Vegas at one of the casinos.

Because of the stories I have heard, I considered interviewing with Disney's construction company but I had already accepted a job by then....maybe I should re-think that life choice.

Not having much luck after graduation, and Ive heard this program can be fun. I'm also interested in the girl:guy ratio and the opportunity to finally get laid.

Also heard they work you to death and dont make much money.

My sister worked for Disney.

They have you work long hours and pay you shite. Most times you're simply a cashier in the gift shop with little chance of moving up

Between the ages 17 and 20, I spent a shite ton of time at Vista Way, I never lived there.

You don't have to live there to enjoy what it has to offer.

Except security is damn tight there, you can’t just stroll in. You have to be escorted by someone who actually lives there and there are rules for guests.

You need to live there to get the real experience.

Got to say it right to, it’s Vista Waaaaaaaay

It’s a wide mix, just your basic wide range of college kids. I always heard Epcot was a blast because you could meet up with the foreign workers. They have their own apartments as well. Just think of the people you see working the restaurants, ride lines, and such. A lot of them are college interns, lots are native employees too. Don’t expect Disney princesses to be doing the intern program though.

This would have to be the sweet spot.
