Anyone here been to Compton, CA? My white British friend wants to go.

OK so I have a friend who is very British. He wears top hats, vests and shite but he recently watched the NWA movie and has booked a flight to LA Halloween weekend. I have tried to explain that those guys won't be so accepting of him and by that I mean he will likely be murdered, but he's convinced that black people cannot be racist.
Now I think that since it's around Halloween weekend he may could get by going down Crenshaw with his top hat that he's very attached to, but does anyone know if there are any British-friendly neighborhoods in LA? Maybe he can ease in that way before heading to Compton.

tbh, places like Compton are not any worse than a lot of international places that American tourists visit without a second thought.
There are actually walking and driving tours of Compton, some run by former gang members. There are several different ones, so I won't link them but you can google the keywords Compton, California, and tours and they come up.
