I’m pretty sure she had bit parts in a couple of Elvis movies prior to that.
RIP. A longtime crush of mine.

She had MS for about 30-40 years, the bulk of which were before the good drugs became available.
She also had an aneurysm.
She was dealt a rough hand and did well to stay in good condition for as long as she did and to almost reach 80 years old.

True, off on a tangent, I talked to the Command Sergeant Major of the Corps of Engineers about getting Mel a Sapper Tab...he's one of the last of the WW2 Combat Engineers.

Except Keith Richards.....since he's already dead. He just wasn't told about it, so he continues to tour with Mick and Ronnie.
Will add Bill Wyman to the list. He's 86, so it's coming.

More than I can say...
Prev Mrs Vette bore more than a passing resemblance to her, and had a great sense of humor...

Letterman had a great show back in the 80's (especially early 80's), and Teri Garr was always an outstanding guest.

Letterman begged her like a puppy dog to take a shower on multiple shows.
I always hoped he'd convince her.

I always think of her in the movie mom and dad save the world. Jeffrey jones character is called dick, but the people from the planet call him earth dick!

Holy shite, she was damn near 80 years old. I would have never guessed.
