Have a buddy we call “blisters” sometimes. He has a knack for showing up right after the work is done.

Actually like twice, but it’s always good to mess with him about it.

I worked in Japan for years. My first name is John. The girls in the office called me John-san. Another American joined our team about 2 years after I started. His first name was John also. Two John-sans was too confusing, so they came up with alternate names. I am tall. He is short. We became Big John-san and Little John-san. When my CEO and company president came to visit, they got very curious as to why all of the girls were calling me "Big Johnson".

Anyway, until I left that company, my nickname around HQ was Big Johnson.

I have met so many people from Evangeline/St. Landry parish that primarily go by their nickname they earned in middle or high school. It’s actually pretty interesting.

My nickname at the camp is Buck Crippler.

I read that as Butt Crippler the first time. I was about to say you boys staying at the camp too long.

In high school a teacher nicknamed me "Asshalf" because I wasn't good enough to be an a-hole (arse-whole).

Naturally everyone from high school still calls me that.
