Just curious as to what you paid for it and does it help you relax at all?

Hell no. I don't want to devolve into an ape-man.

Seth Curry uses it to cope with his White House invitation being rescinded. Seriously though I've heard they really help relieve pain and help people sleep.

I always assumed they were sex things that people tried to sell to the public as “therapeutic.”

I can't think of those things without thinking of being trapped and forgotten in one.

My #1 fear is death by drowning. No way they could lock me in that

Tried it once while out of town, the experience itself was not too remarkable one way or the other. However, leaving it, I was very relaxed. I would definitely try it again.

Have a buddy who does it at a spa weekly. Swears by it, but he’s really out there.

A friend in Pensacola had one about 20 years ago. Very relaxing, 45 minutes in the tank = 5 hours sleep, roughly.

I don't (easily) float in water.

Not a fatty, just dense.

So never considered it.

The amount of salt that is put into these tanks will help you float easily

No. I don't fancy knowing what it's like to be in a coffin until I'm dead.
