I bought a Dockers, tri fold leather wallet back in 2007 and it is barely frayed on some of the edges.
ETA: $40

I've had this one for 6 years and it has held up wonderfully . Toughest hide I've ever seen and looks cool as well.

So you're one of those clueless guys who thinks you're cool because you "just don't care", but wonder why you're dateless and barely treading water in your directionless job while pacifying yourself on beer and sports.
Be better than that.
So you're one of those clueless guys who thinks your possessions are what defines you and your character. Keeping up with the Joneses....be better than that.
Probably some of the wealthiest people you've came across, but didn't know it, also looked the poorest and lived extremely modest lives.
There's a better thread on here more suited for you....

Right. Because there's no middle ground.

I don't even know what this means. Some sort of salve to make yourself feel better I suppose.

I'm aware that my current wallet is a bit kid-like, but the Pioneer one looks legit. Leather is cool, I like the Mr. Lentz wallets.

As long as I've known my grandfather, this was his wallet...
Except that 1 was usually 100's...

I think there is value in a "don't acquire 'stuff'" lifestyle
But I feel it's kinda offset by being a sanctimonious douche and telling everyone about how much better you are because you don't acquire stuff

IDK
When you're broke you have no need for a wallet.

No I read your post, but is that supposed to be a shot at everyone who watches sports?

I figure I've already found the coolest wallet, but this place surprises me sometimes.
90% of people DGAF, and more power to y'all. I like researching and buying slick stuff.
I wasn't dissing on your selection, as I don't even know the cost. I simply intended to suggest just getting something that looks good to you that is functional and relatively inexpensive. Anything less you spend on your wallet can go towards your kids, doing something with your wife, or towards an investment.

No. As I mentioned, read better. There was more than one post.

I like how you always find a way to accessorize with things that are "conversation starters"...granted, the conversation centers around how you have no style at all, but still.

Agreed. I don't understand the moral preening of "I'm cheap and proud of it, and I'll use stuff until it's literally falling apart." Have some pride in your appearance and spare me the "appearances don't matter" BS.

Understood. $85 for a wallet that you carry for 10-15 years isn't that much...and if you're going to carry just one wallet every single day you might as well put some thought into what you purchase.

If I don't have an app for it I don't need it.
