To be honest, my wife found it by searching Google. I read the post and decided to post some information. I am in the process of getting all my documents together along with some notes from the videos and I going to post them all on You Tube. We are still waiting for their attorney to motion the court for a trial date, they requested a jury trial to determine the actual amount they get. They are also claiming corrpution within the City Government. Throwing a lot against the wall and hoping it sticks.

This is what we do. Go down Monday and leave Thursday or Friday morning.

InB4 all the "conservatives" comment how great ED is and isn't unconstitutional at all.

It’s literally in the Constitution as an enumerated power.

You are in luck! We have like 87 lawyers here, ranging from the barely literate to the functionally retarded. They know their stuff. If you need some help, just let em know!

I get that due to the traffic. We go down 3 to 4 times a years and the park itself it worth it. We go during the week and leave of Friday to avoid all the traffic. If we stay in a motel, it's always close to the park

Nah not the traffic. The hillbillyness of it

Well, read the 5th Amendment, The taking clause. If you would some history on it let me know. James Madison was there and talked about it in the Federalist Papers. Then we have the latest Supreme Court decision on eminent domain. So, yes it's Constitutional just not liked.

It’s absolute necessity though.

Watch and see. As I stated earlier, if she retains a top real estate, gets a jury, she will easily win and the payout will be generational wealth.

Paid to her by who? Its a $360K rent house.

I just saw an update: her new attorney has threatened to file a Federal Lawsuit for $20 million.

Why the frick would you threatened to file???

I will ask again - what makes this one any easier than any other eminent domain case?

Generational wealth? Why so much? What are her damages?

She bought a single family home as investment property for $300K that she has owned for one year. The road was well into its planning stage at that point. She was willing to take $1.5M on the argument it should be zoned commercial.

I have never even taken a leak in a law school restroom and I feel comfortable telling you, it would be legally impossible for her to be awarded "generational wealth" (unless you think a $1.2M profit before legal fees and carrying costs is generational wealth) in an eminent domain case.

They are now claiming the City and the Mayor are corrupt. Their attorney is claiming fraud on their last attorney and that he was never provided a copy of the case file, which he can get at the court house just like I did. I personally don't think they have anything and just a scare tactic. Their new attorney was censured by the State Supreme Court for lying to a Judge, A real winner like most attorneys.

Their will be NO generational wealth paid out. They are only entitled the Fair Market Value has stated the recent Supreme Court Decision. I would have taken the $539K and moved on.

Just a side note, they call themselves expert real estate investors, they bought the property with no due diligence and sight unseen except for a video walk thru by their local agent,4 days after it went on the market.
