That may be true, but then they complain not knowing the issues with the property. Had they been there boots on the ground they may have learned more, the neighbors all knew about the road coming through. Also, when they started the remodel inside and out, they gutted the inside and forgot to get the required permits for the remodel. Had they got those permits they would have known about the road then.

Their will be NO generational wealth paid out. They are only entitled the Fair Market Value has stated the recent Supreme Court Decision. I would have taken the $539K and moved on.
Just a side note, they call themselves expert real estate investors, they bought the property with no due diligence and sight unseen except for a video walk thru by their local agent,4 days after it went on the market.

They are now claiming the City and the Mayor are corrupt. Their attorney is claiming fraud on their last attorney and that he was never provided a copy of the case file, which he can get at the court house just like I did. I personally don't think they have anything and just a scare tactic. Their new attorney was censured by the State Supreme Court for lying to a Judge, A real winner like most attorneys.

Nah, you get lawyers involved them everything gets screwed up. I prefer doing the investigation and research on my own.

Well, read the 5th Amendment, The taking clause. If you would some history on it let me know. James Madison was there and talked about it in the Federalist Papers. Then we have the latest Supreme Court decision on eminent domain. So, yes it's Constitutional just not liked.

To be honest, my wife found it by searching Google. I read the post and decided to post some information. I am in the process of getting all my documents together along with some notes from the videos and I going to post them all on You Tube. We are still waiting for their attorney to motion the court for a trial date, they requested a jury trial to determine the actual amount they get. They are also claiming corrpution within the City Government. Throwing a lot against the wall and hoping it sticks.

I get that due to the traffic. We go down 3 to 4 times a years and the park itself it worth it. We go during the week and leave of Friday to avoid all the traffic. If we stay in a motel, it's always close to the park...

FYI to All, the family was offered $490K and then $539K. They were also offered to rent the house for about 2 to 3 years before the road would come through. They refused and stated they couldn't get a management company to take it, the city also helped with that and gave them two names that would help for the short period of time. They again refused, that is when the city filed for eminent domain. The city deposited $490 with the court in Jan 2024 when the case was filed. Their attorney requested $400k to pay the mortgage with the balance to be paid to the family. The mortgage was recently paid just over $220K and they received just over $179k in their pockets. The campground had nothing to do with the Westside Connector as the road had been planned for 30 years. They now state it was never about the money, but just wanted the road moved, But, their new attorney has threatened to file a Federal Lawsuit for $20 million. They have blocked me on their YouTube channel, their Instagram and their TikTok. They have a person in Colorado called Real Wicked Witch of The West who has been assisting them and she has also blocked me when I tried to post the facts out on her site. I have so much more and the documents to back it all up, they are gaslighting people and lying by omission to spin their narrative and click bait.
