Curious what the rates are doing. Considering a 3/4 ton. Fords website is less than helpful. Only rate they have is 7.9% that I found at a quick glance. That’s meant for the 600 club I’m guessing? I’ve heard rumors of 0% right now but haven’t seen that mentioned anywhere.

Besides $900 for 20 years, what have you guys found for finance rates with good credit.

Go to your bank or credit union and get pre approved. Buy with cash, but don't tell the dealer that until you lock in the best price.

Baw you gotta be smart and get yourself a ten year note at the highest percentage you can find. The key is to find the lowest amount down as possible - preferably a loan that doesn’t require payment for the first six months. It’s free money!

I have gotten emails from the last dealer and salesman I bought from offering me 0.00%. I have excellent credit but I am not in the market for a vehicle so I didn't check into it.

Yep, go with a credit union. Keesler is 2.24% right now, credit union rates are hard to beat.

Always this. Never let the dealer shop for financing for you.

Just got one at 2.5% from GMAC. This was after they knocked $7000 off list and threw in some other stuff I needed.

They are very open to making a deal. Great time to buy if you can

Good advice. Telling the dealer that you are paying with cash is useless because, a) makes you look like a pompous arse with more money than brains, and b) they make more money off financing.

You can get 0%, but you forfeit rebates and dealer incentives. I've spoken to several different dealerships about this and they revert to MSRP at the mention of it.

From what I can tell, the 0% deals are for vehicles pretty close to MSRP. Check your local banks for the rates. Make the best deal you can with the dealership, with their financing. Make sure their is no early payoff fee & refinance with your bank after you close.
