Anyone ever witness a wedding objection?

Anyone have any stories?
How drunk would you have to be to object a wedding?

Ex boyfriend getting married tomorrow and you're trying to figure out how much margarita mix to buy first?

This is going to get down voted, but I seriously would love to hear stories too.

the purpose of the objection is suppose to be strictly for legal grounds

No, but I wish someone would have objected when I married my ex wife. WTF was I thinking?

Don't think I've ever been to a wedding where they actually asked if there were any objections

I thought about showing up and objecting one time. I thought I was still in love with her, and the guy she was marrying was a tool. I finally got over her, although I still think about her every so often. She's still married to the tool. He got laid off from an oil company at the end of last year and hasn't found work yet. Thanks, Saudis!

Here's an explanation I found on the www:
Lawful objections to a marriage may be that one or both of the persons are already married, or that they are too closely related (i.e brother and sister, cousins etc.), or that one or both are underage. You can't object just because you think one of them should be marrying someone else, or you think that one of them is a prize idiot.

In a similar vein, has anyone ever witnessed a movie type moment that is obviously life changing for those involved? I've always wanted to see this happen although I realize it's essentially a Hollywood fabrication.
I'm talking about being at a coffee shop or play or airport or wedding or whatever and someone comes in and just interrupts everything and is all "it's always been you! I don't care about that (shite we've been arguing about) as long as I wake up next to you every day blah blah blah...."
I really want to be somewhere when this happens

I've always thought this was a movie/tv thing, and have never heard of it happening outside of that. There are stories online but without video proof I don't buy it.

There's a pretty good chance I may see one later this year. A not-to-bright friend has decided to propose to a girl he's broken up with three times because they cheated on each other. She has a kid from a previous relationship (before they were ever together, not a cheating souvenir). Both his and her mothers have separately asked people to try and break them up. And every single one of his friends has told him how terrible of idea the whole thing is.
I've always felt kind of bad for the guy, and really don't want him to royally frick up his life like he's trying to do, BUT if this marriage actually materializes I really want to be at the wedding because it will in all likelihood be a train wreck of a story I'll tell for the rest of my life.

I have a friend just like that, it's this chick who has been passed around our whole friend group. She's ugly and a fricking count I hate her. I've never hooked up with her because for one I have higher standards than that, secondly I would probably kill myself if I accidentally impregnated that spawn of Satan. Well back to him, he's been dating this chick and the parents HATE her and all of his friends HATE her. She doesn't even try to be nice to us, I saw them at The Bulldog yesterday and she didn't even tell me hello, what a bitch. If they get married I'm going to be livid. I'm probably going to be the best man if it isn't his brother, if I am I'm going to have to swallow my pride and just get that fricking toast over with before I throw up with disgust.

"Well, finally, our congratulations to musician Ike Turner, who recently got married for the 13th time....The ceremony marked the first time that a minister performing a wedding has ever asked, 'Does anyone here not object?'" - Norm

Closest was a white trash cousin's wedding. It's on my white trash side, and my cousin's other side of the family is even more white trash than that. Was my first non-church wedding at the time, so I wasn't familiar with the "schedule". They were doing something and one of her other relatives stands up and just starts giving a speech. Turns out he may have been drunk and welcoming the guy to the family, but it was a random time and everyone thought he was objecting for a few minutes. Wierd, but still not an actual objection.

My wife got me to bring her to the opening of Fifty Shade sof Grey on Valentine's last year. Some dude proposed to his fiancé in front of the sold out theater (not one open seat) just before the previews and she did not say yes. She whispered something in his ear that devastated him and they walked out the theater to talk and never came back.
It was BRU-TAL.
I snuck in s bottle of wine and finished it by myself. God that movie was bad.
