Lived with a buddy that worked at the naval hospital in Pensacola right out of high school. He used to pop an IV after a night of partying. Talk about instant hangover relief. Not sure if it would work as well at 40 as it did 18 but I'm sure it would help.

I’ve used Vida-flo on Coursey a number of times. Not necessarily for a hang over, but when I worked in the yard on a hot, humid Friday afternoon and got dehydrated. Worked wonders for me and it wasn’t expensive. I hate needles and I still would highly recommend it.

but in terms of "curing" a hangover, there's no such thing... alcohol is broken down at a constant rate (0.015 g/100mL/hour), with the rate limiting enzyme being alcohol dehydrogenase...

Why does it seem to last three times as long as you get older then?

Take Ibuprofen and Vitamin B before bed. You'll be fine the next morning.

Yes. Back in the day when I was a resident at Charity Hospital we would come in get an iv started get 2 liters and a little toradol and ready to go out again. Now I do it during Mardi Gras sometimes

Hell, most of the residents walked around with a bag under their jackets and would just squeeze the bag back in the day

Sounds good in theory, but during my hangovers that would require those measures I'm usually not interested in driving around town. Or particularly capable of doing so.

4 tabs is also over the one time dose limit (1000mg),no matter which strength tab youre taking (325 or 500mg).

Overdosing on a liver toxic drug when your liver is already shitting itself seems like a great idea.

As a former Navy corpsman(medic), my buddies and me would do a bolus with a 1000 ml bag of normal saline, and we came up with a neat way of piggybacking a 32oz Gatorade along with it, and we would also take 1200mg of ibuprofen all at the same time!! Next morning, no hangover!!! The perks to having the key to the medicine locker at the base clinic!!

I have a membership. The basic is just saline but the big bags are incredible. Zofran, pepcid, multivitamin, etc.

New person after.
