Anyone ever taken a cruise on the Queen Mary 2?

My husband and I were looking for unusual but nice vacation options and a cruise to England on the Queen Mary 2 came up. We're thinking of doing that followed by a tour of Scottish castles. Anyone ever been on the Queen Mary 2? If so, what did you think of it and what package did you get?
Inb4 cruises are trashy. It's an ocean liner, not a typical cruise ship.

I did the July 4th cruise to Canada last year.
Awesome ship and higher class of people compared to other cruises I have been on.
If you like seafood, you will find plenty. Otherwise food is better on RCL and NCL.
Entertainment is good and the pub is fun.
Afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise. The watercress sandwiches were not something I expected to enjoy.

Last time I was on the Queen Mary my dad got arrested and my son kissed his cousin.

I have not been on the QM2 but I have been on the Queen Elizabeth a few times, which is also part of the Cunard cruise line. Cunard tends to have an older crowd with a lot of Brits. It is the favorite cruise line of me and my wife.

Do they offer drink packages? If so, then it’s no different than a typical cruise except the ship has a Royal name.

Do people seriously memorize the names of the cruise ships they went on? Or even know what the name of the cruise ship was to begin with?
