I think of this every time my team loses.
My mood is affected by whether my team of mercenaries bought by my rich assholes can beat another team of mercenaries bought by their rich assholes? seems dumb
The "student athlete" sham is proven to be a farce for 75% of them in football/basketball every time someone voluntarily transfers for "playing time". Making your hours work at another school if you are actually seeking a legit degree is a real bitch not to be taken on lightly, but it isn't nearly as big a deal when your major is "staying eligible".

I prefer sports like MotoGP and Motocross/Supercross over team sports.And most of the athletes there aren't egomaniac assholes.

Sometimes, when I'm stressing out over a game, I'm jealous of people who aren't into sports. Seems like such a stress free life with so much free time.

I don't get college sports. Dressing up like mardi gras beads and yelling at a bunch of 18 year olds all day while pouring beer in your face is perfectly acceptable. However, if you throw on your high school colors and go yell at those 18 year olds, you're a loser or a pervert.
What I find even more interesting is all the people who have never played a single down of high level college football in their life, yet they feel qualified to comment on the decisions of Coach Les Miles.
