At least 10-12 times but I only do it after I make a long FB post for everyone to see declaring how I don't need FB and how idc what other ppl think and don't have any need to have my personal life on display for attention

Usually start back in a couple weeks

This site is all I have, never been on facebook, instagram, twitter, etc., My cell phone has never been connected to the internet, has no Email capability, its strictly phone calls, and I might send/receive one or two texts in a week.

I completely gave the :birds: to Zuckerbook last month and I'm not inclined to go back. It's kinda nice that people have to put effort into contacting me instead of me putting my status up for them. True story - my sister called me for the first time in almost a decade. We had messaged on FB messenger when she started that bit. It was kinda nice to be stepping back from social media like that.

I do facebook and TD. Facebook for a couple of photo groups and family. TD, I think I'm nearing the end here. Same negative stuff every day.

Perfect example of the type of mentality I was referring.

No you aren't. Does anyone just walk away from TD?

You'll say you will, but you'll be back.

Deleted my FB about 2 months ago. Took people almost that long to realize I had, because I rarely posted on it anyway. Finally just decided that I didn't need it anymore, and if anyone wanted to get in touch, they could call, like people did before FB.

I still read TD and I have an instagram, but rarely post on it. Also have a linkedin, but that is just like a more professional FB now.

I quit the Facebook 7-8 yrs ago.

I went through a rough time and decided I needed some change in my life.

I did that and got rid of my smart phone, etc.

I would say that people reached out and contacted me like others have, but they didn't really.

And that was liberating. You see where you stand with people.

I lived alone and few people called, much less visited.

But there was no bullshite.

That was also the time I met my wife. Without dealing with useless crap I was more open to the world around me and who knows if I'd have ever noticed her if my head was in my phone.

a few years back i quit everything and lived in a camper that i parked on a hunting club in mississippi. My rent was 600 bucks a year utility included. I did odd jobs and hunted/fished for about 6 months. was glorious.

You have the most inconsistent personality on here for someone who tries so hard to act genuine. They are subtle inconsistencies that not everyone will catch.

I use Facebook to keep up with friends and family who live out of state, and social groups like my kids school and the local playground they play sports at. I don’t ever post on Facebook though.

If you’re a sports fan, Twitter is a great tool to keep up with things.

I quit Facebook a few months ago. I'm on Twitter, but I use it to get info as opposed to posting on it.

Seven years ago fb didn't send subscribers dozens of emails and texts weekly with fake friend requests. poke notices, and embedded infogarbage based on preference logarithms. Seven years ago fb didn't sell subscriber demographics to subterranean political and culture moles with subversive motives.

Maybe seven years ago you people were so fricking savvy you got out before fb became the oppressive thought and culture purveyor it is today.

It's a website dude. I have it, probably haven't uploaded anything in 5+ years, but i get tagged in stuff. I could delete it tomorrow and go about my day. I'll never understand how people let that stupid shut run their lives.
