What were your symptoms? I feel like my lower back and abdomen pains have been worse than the urge to pee and the tiny bit of discomfort when I do actually go.

Don't Google. Leave it to the professionals. You'll drive yourself crazy.

Could be a kidney stone too. Plus STDs produce the burning sensation in your urethra, but don't produce pain in your lower back or abdomen generally. Kidney stones or pyelo do that, and since you're a young male, pyelo is lower on the differential.

Also, none of this is medical advice, go see a doctor.

Just a ton of discomfort, burning, and feeling the need to go frequently. Didn't have any back pain.

yep...got one once when I got very dehydrated from working outside and didn't piss for nearly a day. UTI was pretty crappy feeling...didn't really hurt much, but did cause some cramps very low on my stomach. went to the dr and got some antibiotics and it went away very quickly.

fwiw, if you think you have one, just go to the dr and get some shite...I now force myself to drink a lot of water and haven't had another in several years since.

if you had blood in your splooge, you probably had some little prostate infection....that would lead to a few UTI during your life.

also, just so you know, prepare to get a big hairy knuckled finger run up your arse...

ETA: google will scare the shite out of you, but don't be scared...just go and get a script...

Actually disregard what I said. I forgot I had prostatitis and not a UTI. My apologies.

I have a SO so I know it's not some type of STD.

How does that mean it's not an std?

I think I got my first one about 2 months back... shite was super painful. Went from my left to eventually my right kidney before subsiding about 5-6 days later... it hurt to lay down, to take more than half a breath... it fricking sucked

But yea but I never went to the doctor

I had this 2 years ago and it was the exact same symptoms the OP is dealing with. Rocephin shot in the butt cheek and I was good to go the next day.

Yeah, I've had one when I got really dehydrated. Doc said that's usually how guy's get them. Antibiotics knock it out quick

I'm going through the exact same thing right now you are describing. Been going on about 5 days. I thought it was a UTI but now I'm not so sure. I really only feel the mild discomfort when I apply the pressure to piss or poop, and the discomfort is right on or below the belt line. I'm starting to think I have a mild hernia.

yeah had some fever... but really wasn't too too bad, was manageable...

I don't know what I had. Reading online it was UTI, kidney infection, or stones... that's the symptoms... I was happy as frick the night I laid down to go to sleep and the pain wasn't quite as bad. I thanked it was finally going away
