Anyone ever feel like they're "THAT CLOSE" to time-travelling?

And no, there's no weed fueling this

I know it's just imaginary, but occasionally, I have a dream (often half-awake) where I feel like I could almost go back to a past moment, like going back down a hall and opening a door. Usually, it's to go see a parent or loved one who is gone, it really feels like I could just 'back up', and visit them again. I'll be somewhat aware, not quite out cold, and it just feels like a little break of inertia would do the trick.
I then wake up and it's weird; you know it's not real, but a little part of you still wants to remember how to take that first step back, and you can then go the rest of the way.

Anyone else have that dream?

If you want to go further into this, I'd say try to set your intention for what you want to experience in your dream while you're awake. Or just set aside some time to consciously think about your dreamstate at some point before going to sleep. You might even be able to induce a lucid dream.

Also, I wouldn't necessarily discount the importance or "realness" of your dreams. Dmitri Mendeleev, Rene Descartes, and countless others have had profound breakthroughs in dreams. In terms of Jungian psychology, you could tap into something much deeper in your dreams than you experience in ordinary waking consciousness.

No lie, before I even clicked on this thread, my only thought was, "how high is this MF'er?"

So which drug is it, exactly? I don't need help get esoteric for sure, but I'm curious as to what drives normal people to this place.

How to break inertia? Break it. Fly to a foreign country and meet new people. Problem solved.

I did once back in 2045 but it may have just been the shrooms.
