I was thinking I could make this a year long journey across the states. Even make a stop down on the bayou in Louisiana if any of ya'll would let me park for a few nights in your drive way if you live close to some cool scenery.

Perhaps a van like this?

Why does it have to be a van?

A friend of mine did that about 25 years ago. I would get postcards every couple of weeks from random places. He said he had the time of his life. He finally ended up staying in Austin, Texas and as far as I know he's still there. I haven't heard from him in years.

I had an uncle that made a road trip cross country in an old van. He had a lot of engine problems, but really enjoyed it.

What are mini tour tournaments?

Does that have European tags?

I know someone from high school that did something like that, but he bought a motorbike and planned on going to California for the summer. He did ride the motorbike to California, but he never did come back to Louisiana, except for short, occasional visits with his family. He's been living out there for 30 years.

Golf. Like the Hooters Tour or whatever they call it now.

I guess it just has American tags. It's a Ford Traveler I think. Originally produced and sold in England.

VaN like that certainly isn't going to be cheap. Maybe a 1999 Chevy passenger van with rusted floor boards and 234k miles on it from hauling fruit pickers from one grove to the next.

A van like that is very expensive.

I think I've seen it at Santa Maria. Cool old Van. And it has the right hand steering. I'd tour and live in it.
