If it's the shutoff, it's probably plastic inside and both ethanol and carb cleaner will eat it up

I have two generators and I was working on the better one today.
At least it’ll be ready moving forward. Everything has been cleaned out and I ordered a replacement part that’ll be in next week just in case.

2 pages and no one is going to call out the elephant in the room?
frick 0bama and frick ethanol. That water soluble shite is no good in a humid climate. These problems were legislated against common sense.

I havent started my generator in a few years(probably since isaac).
I was worried id be working on it, but apparently I did the right thing when putting it up. I guess I drained the gas and ran it dry so it wouldnt get all gummed up.
Put a new spark plug in it today, some gas and a quick spray of starting fluid and we were in business on the first pull.

Spent some time FaceTiming with my nephew who did it for me. I’m stuck in Dallas and thank god he was able to get it running.

for an extended time
Yes, the last 2 days. 15 year old Honda, carb is shot. Went and got a 6600 Yamaha from GN this afternoon and paid through the dick hole for it. That was after being there this morning looking for parts for the Honda.
New carb ordered for the Honda. Will be here next week.

Changed the oil and mixed in some fresh treated gas in mine. Let it run for about 15 mins. I’m good to go. Let’s dance.

I’ve got a new carb sitting on shelf for almost two years now. Not putting it on until we lose power. Generator cranks already, just won’t run without being half choked, and have cleaned old carb several times. Piss on Obama and his ethanol
