Construction everywhere

Know everybody

Kind of small

Annoying tourists

Hipsters all around

Nothin gets done on time

I don't really let others adjust how I live my life.

that seems somewhat impossible in louisana..

seemingly no one can drive properly

nothing gets done on time

everybody is just lolly-jollying around

roads suck

insurance rates are sky high

etc etc etc
i mean, the daily inconveniences Louisiana brings to the table are unlike most states, ive ever been too and/or lived in

The city is falling apart and needs all the work it can get.

No you don't.

Kind of small

The metro area isn't that small. It's not like Lafayette or Lake Charles.

Annoying tourists

They support the city. Without them, New Orleans is nothing.

Hipsters all around

Not really all around. They pretty much stick to certain places.

That just fits in with the theme that no one in New Orleans gives a frick. That's both terrible and awesome.

Love it, but it's wearing a little thin.

Love New Orleans but can't imagine living there. To each their own.

Some can't deal with the endless drizzle in Seattle.

Others can't deal with bad roads, crime, filth, heat and mosquitoes of New Orleans.

NOLA is overrated. Not a bad place by any means. And trust me, I love it and would live there, but I could see where it would rapidly lose its luster.

Go down to the Superdome right now and see the white trash from the rest of Louisiana and Mississippi that are in town for the monster truck jam. Never thought I'd get to American Sector for drinks

Left New Orleans 21 years ago after living there for four years and I'm still tired of it.

Trust me I walked home from mojo steins because it was beautiful and got to see them in full force

Not trying to "flame"... Whatever that means. Just asking a question.

And yeah the metro area is big but i don't want to hang out in Metairie and Kenner. Please.

Magazine was packed today.

Camp was empty.

Steins is a tourist haven, why were you there if tourists piss you off?

Translation: I want to hang out where all the action is, but I hate people being around.

Well my family has a home in the quarter, a hotel in the quarter, and I live in a much better city.

So no, I'm not jealous. I'm sad that New Orleans hasn't lived up to its potential in decades.

I think it is because of all the people who profited off the city for years and not returned a a damn thing to it.
