I heard that story as well. I want to say it was some Neville dudes saw her and picked her up in a Jeep. Not sure how authentic the story is but it makes for some good Funroe urband legend but the person that allegedly did the catching is oddly enough mentioned in this thread already. She had a cooking show. RIP to her.

So long everybody…

Up until, I think, a year or so, he still had a radio show he did from Florida on KMLB. The talk radio channel. It was on Friday nights. I think he may have passed, but not sure. I was scanning channels one night and heard his voice and stopped. I knew that voice. At his age, he sounded like he did when I heard him all those years ago

Judy is from Winnfield but doesn't like to acknowledge it. Thinks she's too good, I guess.

CSB: my 9th grade algebra teacher was college roommates with Linnie Freeman, the FM102 news girl in the seventies and early eighties.

I heard she got pulled over drunk driving while neked down Forsythe Ave. But either way, a good urban legend.

Ummm, that would be Shreveport.

Monroe is the Ark-La-Miss.

Judy has wrecked a few old money marriages in Monroe but in regards to that story, the part of her running nude down island drive or whatever it was is added for dramatic effect imo but she did get caught in the act by a well known attorneys wife and I'm sure chaos ensued.

Rumor at one point was that she was also caught in a production room with a certain infamous deejay who had a predilection for bleach blondes.

Hint: it was not Mean Green.

I just saw what Judy Waggoner looks like now through pictures of her on her daughter’s Facebook page. It was exactly what I expected to see. Truly insane.

When I was a freshman at Tech, I'll never forget the intro to the local news every night:

"Good evening. I'm Chris Fairbairn, & I'm Leighton Spann"
