Feels good man. I get the next 3-4 weeks mostly off of work. I love my job.

Yeah, everything is winding down for us big time. We brought old school Gameboy Color's last Friday and were playing each other. Going to be a boring next 3 weeks

Yes, but it's not necessarily a good thing...Work is extremely slow (O&G consulting) and boss told me today that I haven't taken off enough recently and suggested I take off 3 weeks and do some hunting. Hopefully things start to pick up soon :/

Winter is the busiest time of the year on the peds floor(flu and respiratory season). We are starting to get busier and are not even allowed to take any vacations until it slows down around April. I've already heard rumors of mandatory overtime this winter season.

And one of my coworkers just broke her leg so will be out for who knows how long(you can't work on crutches on my floor).

What if you had the chance to be off the entire month of December except for 12 hour work days on xmas eve, xmas day, new years eve, and new years day. worth it?

Exactly! He has to ask if it's worth it to only work 48 hours in a month? Really?

You can always celebrate Christmas late or early with family

Nope. We're expanding our business and this may be the biggest month of the year.
