I haven’t heard that name in a long time….except in the sentence “ that publix is in the old Albertsons location”

Damn, I noticed that too. Regular size corn chips are nonexistent, the large ones (Scoops) I’ve seen a few.

Also a few of the chili cheese flavor.

They are still in the boxes of assorted individual serving sized chip bags but haven’t seen them on the shelf lately. I never look for them though.

Coca Cola stopped making Black Cherry Fresca during Covid and never brought it back. That was my main mandarin vodka mixer. Losing it during Covid sucked.

What generic brand did you buy and where did you find them?

I get the chili-cheese ones at Save a Lot. There was a Save a Lot on Evangeline, but they were stolen into closing. The corporate explanation was that they closed it because that location didn't fit their company image. I guess their company image is that their customers pay for their stuff.

There is still one in Hammond.

Chili cheese Fritos are better anyways, especially with chili.

I like them okay, but they are almost too salty for me.

I have no idea. Seems like I have been seeing this new generic brand lately called food source or food club, was probably those. I bought them at Janises in Sunset.

If you have an Aldi's you might pick up a generic version.

Was at the local Aldi tonight and remembered this thread when I saw a ton of their generic fritos. They used to be 69 cents for the bag and they are now 99 cents.
