As I was driving I could see the storm moving at an insane pace. I honestly thought it was going to become a tornado. It was insane. I'm finally about to start driving again.

Don't doubt it! My power went out for a couple minutes, but when I looked outside, the wind was nuts! Was prepared for a tornado!

Yea, it's not bad in that area now other than backed up traffic, but it's BR so that isn't shocking.

I was at the testing center in the basement of Himes when it went down. I'm pretty sure the clock tower got struck by lightning.

But on the wind and rain, a strange new perfume blows.
And the lightnin' flashes in her eyes,
and he knows that she knows

Well I just turned on the news and there's a Clinton and Bush running for president and then I saw a Jurassic Park commercial, so I'm not sure what year it is.

I was too busy trying to navigate home. If you don't know how to drive in in climate weather or how not to create gridlock, either pull into a driveway or invent a time machine so you can convince your mother to have an abortion

What's really cray is the fact the storm was moving east to west. My power was out for an hour, hail blowing sideways, cats and dogs getting along.

Highland Road closed near Seigen. Got routed into a neighborhood where there was a big tree across the road from a lighting strike. Had to turn out of the neighborhood and go back towards Bluebonnet.

Entergy hopes to have my power back on by 6AM tomorrow. Looks like I'm gonna be sitting in the dark all night.

Just got home after leaving work around 6 which is from downtown to near Highland rd and Lee.

Highland rd is backed up both ways as there is a huge tree limb that knocked a wire out going along highland. Near that big White House that hasn't been sold in years.

My power is out and got the generator running

Eta: traffic lights are out at Perkins and Stanford. Avoid at all costs.

Light is also out at Stanford and highland.

I didn't check to see but based on traffic I also suspect highland and lee light is out.
