Italy is getting fricked by this thing, South Korea seems to be fine and so does China but who knows if they are telling the truth. I don’t know what to believe or what to think about the virus. Guess I’ll just grab another beer

I’m living every day like it’s my last. Something better end soon, or I’ll be fricked.

I don't think we can take more than two additional weeks of the shutdowns we have now before the economy takes on irreparable damage and people lose their minds. But, it also sounds like we probably need at least 3 and more like 6+ months of social distancing efforts to really fight the spread, otherwise we will just see spikes down the line. So, who knows.

Can you imagine how weird it is going to be if this thing drags into the start of college football season? I doubt after this, going to a major sporting event will ever be the same. Will games at Death Valley or Bryant Denny be like they once were?

If this goes on for 6 months the loss of college football won’t even be a blip on the radar

Eating a lot of pasta gives you a better chance to get it and if you eat way more than the average Italian it can kill you.

I don’t get why South Korea would lie. China yes of course. South Korea though?

I’m thinking about having a beer for the first time in years. All that keeps playing in my head

Put it this way. Throughout history, as long as people are hungry and occupied, they are manageable.

Hence, bread and circuses.

The Circuses are gone. Once the bread goes, so do empires fall.

We are seeing the final floor board rotting away beneath a collapsing American empire. Because we are living it first hand we are in shock, paralyzed in horrified fascination as it all burns to the ground

Exactly. If this goes on for 6 months we will become Nigeria. The loss of college football will be beyond trivial.
