That street it lined on both sides with huge oak trees and they will be dropping so much yellow pollen in a few weeks that I will have to hose off my truck every time I get in it to go anywhere.

The oaks play into it also. The white oak on the corner of my lot keeps my vehicles with a nice yellow hue.

I've never really struggled with allergies...this year has KILLED me. I feel like my head is going to explode daily.

This is me, at least when I was in LA a couple of weeks ago. We were down at the camp and I was convinced every day I was getting sick but it was just whatever was in the air, the day we got back home it all went away.

I have had varying severities of the same headache for about the last week.

I never get headaches.

Not me. I wasn’t one of those weird formula babies

I wasn’t a formula baby.

You don’t realize how lucky you are not to have to deal with this every year. Not only are you ungrateful, you have to try to insult those affected. frick you.

Yes!!!!!

I went to urgent care. Had a sore throat and a bad cough for three weeks. So painful my throat was waking me up at night. I thought I had strep. They tested and I was negative for strep, flu, and Covid. Said I had allergies. I was on steroids and antibiotics for a week. Finally felt normal. I was worried I needed to visit an ENT for sinus surgery. First time in my life allergies bothered me like this.

It’s bad here in Kentucky too. Had some warmer weather early and stuff started blooming early.

I do Xyzal at night. Claritin during the day (if needed). Neti pot to flush out the sinuses a couple times a week. Flonase if the sinus pressure shows up.

Kinda odd but I haven't been impacted yet. Normally I deal with some issues this time of the year.

Same. No symptoms this year. I'm normally dying from March thru middle May. Weird shite.

In Atlanta.. they show the pollen count when they do their weather reports

Anything over 2,000 is considered high

The other day it was like 8,000!

Forget washing the car anytime soon

Yeah it’s bad this year but to make matters worse, a Zyrtec bottle of 60 is 35 a pop.
someone posted the Sam’s version but Costco also has a generic that is pretty cheap as well. I think I got 365 pills for $14

I feel like I haven’t slept in two weeks . I just lay there and cough or just have my nose snot drain out if I’m laying on my side . It’s fricking miserable any time I fall asleep I wake up hacking for the next few hours. I’ve been consuming honey by the m spoonful and go through a family size bag of ricolas in like 3 days. I now need like four pillows to sleep to keep my head vertical and it still doesn’t stop the coughing

About 6 or 7 years ago with just some simple generic nose spray every day I ended my Spring allergy nightmare and I don’t get allergies anymore

WTF is “simple generic nose spray”? You mean like Afrin?

Yes, I have never had eczema in my life. I have it this year on my eyes. It’s a response to allergies according to the dermatologist. It’s been a rough year.

Do not take Afrin long term, take Flonase or something similar.

My allergies were so bad that I actually had a tooth ache. I have never experienced a tooth ache in my life and this sucker hurt. I was in pain for 6 hours in the middle of the night. The only relief was putting ice cold water in my mouth. I finally found some Aleve and was able to go to bed around 6am... I wouldn't wish that on anyone even a democrat...

People with allergy’s are weak, they were protected and not exposed to nature. Blame your liberal parents!!

You’ve probably been vaccinated and booted every round too. PATHETIC!!
