Anyone else hearing the St. Patty’s day parade may be in jeopardy?

Word around the water cooler today was that Coach is very likey to cancel the parade this year due to the unprecedented weather event slated for this weekend. Out of an abundance of caution. It would be a total shame if she did that…
It will surely be a huge disappointment to the Livingston Parish jacked up truck crowd who make their yearly pilgrimage to the southdowns area to be drunks and lower the property value.

Sorry… current governor, Coach.

Who is Broome and why would they have a say?

It’s a damn shame you people can vote. Don’t even know who the mayor is.

This parade is not put on by anyone in City-Parish Government.
It’s hosted by a private organization.
Don’t worry, I am sure they will find a way to organize it around the severe weather so you and the bros can still get black out drunk. Heaven forbid you miss that.

The parade permit requirement disagrees.

Don’t lump me In with the trashy crowd that descends upon the area like locust. Me and my family go out for a bit to watch the parade because my 2 yo loves it then walk back to the house for some casual brews with family and friends.

Aw someone is upset that a crowd is coming in disturbing your cock sucking event you have planned in the south downs area?

So many of you hate to see people have fun and engage in any sort of tradition

The parade does, however, need police, fire trucks and clean up services, which all require city-parish government employees, and they could pull the plug if they so chose

I was told they may change the time, but it’s Monday…give it a couple of days.

You realize he parade organizers don't call the shots. The city can shut it down - just like Metairie did with the Mardi Gras parade last week. Or the city can make them move the time of the parade or change the route - just like the city of New Orleans did to Rex and Zulu (and canceled the truck parades).
This is straight from the wearing of the green website:

The parade has rolled without incident since 1986 rain, sleet, snow and shine.* Let’s pray for a beautiful day. If there is a severe weather forecast, please stay tuned to your local media for further instructions. *We did skip two years due to the Covid Pandemic.

And he’s projecting his feelings onto his two year old.
If the parade is that trashy, why expose your toddler to it?
A 2 year old won’t know an annual parade is passing. He or she won’t remember last year’s. OP’s wife must’ve caught him checking out the gay guys.
