LA has so many cases because Mardi Gras happened and NOLA is a major port city
I'm trying to square that with the Houston area who kept running the rodeo until March 11 and is a much-bigger "port city."

Is the rodeo as internationally known, confined, and frankly, as popular as Mardi Gras?

You should post about it on Facebook....oh, and remember to tell everyone to “wash your damn hands people”. That way we know how serious you are about this, Karen.

NO gets a shitload of visitors for Mardi Gras. Many of them from abroad.

Would you stop with the Mardi Gras stuff. Fat Tuesday was February 25. 1st positive case was March 9. That’s 13 days after Fat Tuesday. Incubation time was 2-14 days. It’s not because of Mardi Gras. That would mean everyone caught it on the 24th.

My idiot neighbors are having baby’s first birthday parties and multi family crawfish boil parties

So you think this virus wasn’t here prior to March 9th?

Going to need pics of all the nurses, STAT

If her body chemistry is susceptible to the virus, its just a matter of time before she gets it. If not, then her body will reject it upon contact. And even if she gets it, she could develop an immunity to it
81% of the elderly folks on that cruise never got the virus, despite being trapped on a ship with it.

I've seen a lot of healthcare people not really caring about the social distancing "rules"
about 15-20 healthcare people in scrubs were outside a local restaurant the other day just all having a great time standing around each other
friends who are both doctors keep sending their kids to their grandparents
other friend whose wife is a doctor is routinely scheduling play dates and whatnot
its weird, on one hand I'm constantly being lectured by healthcare people to "stay the frick home" and then I see these healthcare people not giving a frick
no idea what to think

That people are hypocrites and want the social media likes

No, it would mean that a lot of it got spread to a lot of people during that time, many of whom just assumed they had “the crud” like my dad, and continued to spread it throughout the city and state and region.

Houston area who kept running the rodeo
When I watch it on TV, it seems like Brazilians are taking over Bull Riding. PRCA 2020 Xtreme Bulls Standings Standing don't show that.
Those guys from Iowa, LA are killing it on the PRCA 2020 Southeastern Circuit Standings - All-Around
Two Mississippi guys are ahead of them, but two guys from the same town locking down two of the top four spots!
