Anyone else have family members who aren’t listening to these guidelines?

Going about their normal business including visiting 86 year old grandmother frequently. They can’t seem to grasp the idea that they might be bringing the virus to her. Apparently rules just don’t apply to some people

This is the wrong board to ask.

According to this board this is all fake and a ruse to kick Trump out of office.

My little sister was out on the river with about 20 other people partying it up yesterday. What makes it worse is she’s a nurse

With proper precautions and PPE there should be nothing to keep you from your immediate family members. That being said, if someone is ignorant or practices poor PPE then Yes, it could be a fatal mistake.

That's me I guess. My aunt is on her deathbed and I'm flying home for a few days. Got my mask and gloves. Otherwise been following all the guidelines.

Sadly being a nurse doesn't always equal being highly intelligent.

Lemme guess...she still is posting numerous stuff on FB about how much she is suffering at work?

Yes, my husband's parents are 91, he visits them all the time and states he social distances. I've explained his Mom is hard of hearing and a close talker, so I know he is unable to do that.

Many are not following this. This is why Louisiana has so many cases. People figure if they feel good, they can do whatever they want.

LA has so many cases because Mardi Gras happened and NOLA is a major port city

The government can’t protect you. From anything but another foreign nations army, and maybe not even that all the time. Quarantine your grandma and yourself if you’re scared.
