Anyone else got a wicked strep throat infection ?

This thing is kicking my arse .
Hurts to swallow water.
No real symptoms other than sharp pain upon each swallow
I slept like 30 minutes total last night. I am exhausted and I doubt I’ll sleep much tonight either
Been taking amoxicillin and a z pak as well. Trying to knock this thing out as I’ve gotta go to Arizona Sunday for a work meeting of course

I had the same symptoms, went to the dr and it was Covid. Lasted about 4 days, God speed brother

Yep that sounds like strep. It's been a minute since I've had it but good lord it hurt like a bitch to swallow. Symptoms should subside after a couple days on antibiotics

Moving forward gargle warm salt water once a week whether you're sick or not. It helps clean the tonsils. When my daughters were young they used to get strep all the time. Getting on a salt water routine basically cured them.

Yes! My daughter (no pics) has had it for about 8 days taken antibiotics and still having issues. Hasn’t been fun for us. Good luck brother

I had a bitch of a soar throat on Monday. Negative for strep, flu, and COVID. Felt a little better Tuesday and Wednesday. Felt terrible yesterday. Tested positive for Flu B today.
