I’ll be transferring all funds from Chase. Not reading all that legalese. I can’t even access my account without accepting their crap. It’s so nice of them to allow me let them use my money and sign away any reasonable rights.

As a rule, I don't bank with Chase voluntarily. Had bad experiences back in the 1990s (same with BoA). I do, however, have a Amazon 5% cash back card through Chase. The literal instant I have the slightest bit of trouble from them about anything, I'm gone.

If you're from the Gulf area, bank local and switch to Hancock Whitney...

Every time I see this in print I read it in Chris Fowler's voice, "Chase!"

I've had very little interaction with Chase, though my mortgage is held by them (sold to them from Hibernia Bank).

Years back, they made a big deal out of having less tellers in the branches in a push to go fully automated, like this was a good thing.

Never mind the tellers that were losing their jobs. But I think most people like to deal with a person when they actually have to go into a branch.

During this time, my wife didn't mail off the check for the mortgage. So I drove the closest Chase to pay it through the drive through. There were no tube; is was basically a bunch of ATM machines to make deposits. Since I wasn't a Chase account holder, I couldn't use the machines, and had to go into the branch. Inside the branch, there was a line of 20 people waiting to see one very harassed looking teller. It took forever for me to just pay the bill.

I don't know if they're still doing this, but it seems like a bad idea and a huge inconvenience for their customers.

That's probably where they tell you they'll close your accounts if you request to speak with a native English speaker.

I have read Chase service agreements and you would be shocked to find out what's in there. The hackers themselves couldn't have written it better. You have no protection at all.

I switched to EFCU from Neighbors FCU for this same reason. They don't want to have a live person to talk to so I took my business elsewhere.

It's cute that you think other banks are going to not have long and barely understandable digital service agreements.
