Anyone else avoid the beach for the 4th?

It has to be the worst time someone could go to the beach. Expensive, crowded, and hot as shite.
I'll take Thanksgiving at the beach any day over the 4th.

I avoid the beach whenever I can. It's hot, humid, sand gets in the crack of my arse. Give me the mountains or fishing over the beach all day.

Yep we usually go Easter break. Less crowded and cheaper...yet still warm enough to get in the water.

Beaches aren't very crowded around here because the water is freezing so it's actually a chill place to grill or whatever.

We are going with the in-laws in two weeks. I hope I survive and don't take a life while I am there. Some how one of my in-laws didn't want to go, but their 5 kids are going. FML
