Thinking about one and like the newer body style.

I’ve read online how the engine noise is a big negative and road noise. Can anyone elaborate or verify?

Also, how’s the infotainment system? I’m OCD and an infotainment system can be a deal breaker if it’s too complicated.

I want to drive a Rav 4 and a Hyundai Tuscon/Sante Fe to see which I like best. Didn’t like the CR-V and Mazda

i went with the cx-5. when i tried the rav 4, my head hit the ceiling. no way to adjust the seat down.

didn't have issue with 2018 rav4, but 2019 rav 4 lost 2 inches of headroom. Tuscon was our second choice.

I bought a 2020 Rav4 Hybrid a few weeks ago. I have not driven it much, but in the few times I have driven I can tell you it is a smooth ride, engine noise is not bad, and with Apple car play the infotainment system is a breeze. Plus with the infotainment system all things are centrally located. This is different than the 2019 Subarus in that class. Those Subarus had buttons to the left, right, up, and down. That was annoying.

XC-40 is a great looking car but my BiL has one and hates it. I drove it and the interior didn’t wow me. Just didn’t love it.

I've test driven one, and I thought it was a great ride.

I haven’t been in one, but the interior of our XC60 is super nice.

This isn’t terrible, I’d like to see it next to the competitors. They’re charging a premium, so yea if it doesn’t wow...

I have a 2019. No noise complaints from me. Ride is smooth and as someone said Apple CarPlay makes everything easy on the info screen. We’ve really enjoyed the vehicle.

This is the stuff I’m talking about. I’m a sales guy that Iives in my car. Just the simplest of things like where buttons and knobs are can be a dealbreaker

Toyota road noise can be an issue. You might see if they have one with the quiet package.

That's the one knock on our sienna. If we are running the interstate with the concrete barriers the road noise sucks. I've read some forums where people have pulled door panels and put in dynamat.

Love everything else about the vehicle

Are you being a smart arse or is this a thing? Why not put that on every model?

Have 2018 Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid. It appears that 2019 is a little higher & quieter. Very happy with vehicle & dealership.

Note: Toyota Rav 4 and Honda CRV are the least expensive SUVs to insure (for Florida).

Wife drives a 2019 Rav4 limited trim and there is a height adjustment on the seat. I think you have to step up trims to get the powered driver’s seat with height adjustment.

Side note - 2021 Rav4 Prime will have 302 fricking HP!!!!! Thats the one you want to get!

infotainment system and Toyota don't compute. I love my Toyotas. I haven't bought anything but them since 2005. Their electronics/bluetooth/stereos ALL suck and are outdated before they are released compared to the competition.

Own 2019 rav4. The engine noise is fone (has high pressure fuel pump and u can hear it whine if you are listening for it). But i get great mpg, space is great, and finally has rear ac vents. Now, the infotainment is not complicated, just slow to respond (when start up). That is my only complaint, i get 39 mpg cruising airline/interstate and its comfortable to park, drive, maneuver (i own xle, no leather, with power driver seat and heated front seats, glad i got both).
