SAD is a real thing. Definitely the worst I’ve felt all year. I believe it subsides eventually.

I have posted a few mental health post before. I don’t mind talking about it.

Clinically yes

Genetics are a bitch. So far I’m the only one I know of in my generation to have our brand and not kill myself

Go find some wood to split, masturbation, or work out. Go hiking or do something outdoors. I know it's a real thing, but there are ways to help compartmentalize it.

No, but went through it after the loss of my lady.

Best friends wife just spent a few days in the psych ward. Mental health problems are real. Some people are just more impervious to the bullshite that is life and suck it up and carry on cause they have responsibilities. Probably isn’t healthy but neither is taking a shite load of prescriptions to function.

I like the fall/winter and time change. So I enjoy the shorter days. I'm sure if I lived in Alaska and not South LA it would be different. Hope you get better soon !

Yeah not that I'm not empathetic toward OP but I thought this was a Jan/Feb thing.

I don't like the time change but this is one of my favorite times of year so I can't relate.

Most depressed people are already unproductive. I think weed just adds to that.

Yes, but I come to the realization as to what is, and I suck it up, and move on. Mind over matter

I am SAD about getting less things done on my day off due to it getting dark earlier. I am sad that it is chillier in the morning and I stay inside longer.

Depends on the strain. I’m far more productive if I smoke than If I don’t. Smoking weed does what addy and vyvanse do minus the horrible side effects for me.

Yes. Sunshine makes me feel on top of the world. Dreary/dark weather brings out depression for me.

I'm a member of the club. Hate short dark days. Hate the commercialization of Christmas. Detest "Little Drummer Boy". Bah, Humbug!

I think baseball Hall-of-Famer Honus Wagner said it best. When asked what he did in the off-season, he replied, "I sit and look out the window and wait for Spring."
