Cologuard is for us 45-50 year old baws. Basically you shite in a box and mail it in to see if you have the colon cancer. Curious if anyone has tried this instead of a full colonoscopy.

Just get a colonoscopy. It’s the better test.

I think that’s called space docking.

The only true way IMO. I tried the Cologuard and it came back positive. That's enough to scare you but it seems this is a common problem (the fine print tells you there may be "false positives"). When I went for my colonoscopy after that, (negative of course), I got the impression that the professionals don't think much of the mail in type!

My insurance company sent me one. I sat down and read the fine print. It repeatedly warned of False Positives and False Negatives. The False Negatives worried me more actually.

No, but that sounds like a great idea to do to people you don't like.

I watched their instructional video on the website. If you're completely immature and still find farts funny, you will find it is worth two minutes time.

I'm shitting in a box, a cardboard box.

My Dr likes these as precursor to the roto rooter.

Shitting in a box doesn’t remove polyps especially precancerous ones. Get the colonoscopy.

I have dropped a deuce in a box and mailed it, but it had nothing to do with any kind of test.

No. The reason, and the result, is that I don’t give a shite.

11% false positive rate

No thanks. Not worth the potential worrying over a false positive bc you’d have to then go get a real colonoscopy anyway which you are trying to get around
