My parents watch CNN and MSNBC all day...except for when they put on The View in the morning. And, at least when it comes to my mother, if I even mildly disagree with anything they say I am a Hitler who obviously watches Fox News all day (I don't watch really any network TV). My dad will at least listen to an argument if its any bit logical but my mother, no chance.

Only time I watch the news is during a hurricane or if we just made an attack/got attacked.

Other than that I don’t really give a shite what they have to say, that goes for both sides.

I simply don't watch CNN and haven't since election night. I watch Fox Business Mornings with Maria during the week. I tried watching Fox but I can't take them more than about 30 minutes.

Ratings and nothing else"? I call B.S. Too many of CNN's "analysts" have an extreme hatred for Trump and as a result, they have a very definable agenda against him, on any subject. No one can fake getting that worked up just for ratings. Their distaste is real & very open. They are not that good at acting. And more than a few at FOX have an open hate for liberals and the left. The political divide in this country is very real, among the public and tv programs.

A couple of summers ago, I visited two friends of mine in Humble, Texas. A married couple.

My friend, James is retired, and when he isn’t hunting , he is religiously watching the ladies of Fox News. He watches nothing but that one channel.

They are profiting from the political divide. There are two sides, they cater to one side of the division because they watch. Division is good for business. You think there is more to it than the bottom line? Their job is to increase revenue.

I work from home with 3 monitors and a keyboard. Middle screen Fox Business, left screen Fox News, right screen CNBC....I love it. And no I’m not 60, yet.

I have one neighbor who admitted she can't seem to turn it off. And it bothers her.

We talked it over, and I suggested she avoid all news for one day, not even talk about Corona. Get out cookbooks and find something she's always wanted to make.

Use Project Gutenberg to read a book she remembers from her childhood but hasn't read it in decades.

Plant some seeds that can be started early indoors.

And then avoid the virus news every other day, and the politics as well.

So when D.Lemon goes on one of his venom-filled meltdowns he's just working the bottom line? Cuomo? Blitzer? I understand all about the bottom line. But CNN most definitely has a strong political agenda.
