Cop murder-suicide his family in a nice OKC suburb home last April. 3 kids and the wife. Let his youngest son live. It sold almost exactly one year later for market+ value. Was only on the market for a month. I’m hoping the sale went to a trust for the boy.

Depending on the murder, it would be a great dinner party conversation starter

I remember the murder-suicide house of the doctor in Willow Grove stayed on the market a long time and price kept dropping.

My home was built in the 1890’s and is fully restored. Including my amazing MIL, I’m sure there were many deaths under my roof. My home has the warmest and inviting feeling to it though.

Turns out he stabbed a guy to death in a bar fight in the late 80s, over a $1 bet. He was arrested but it was then overturned on a technicality.

He did show up on our doorstep unannounced one night before a freeze, but he only wanted to suggest that we wrap a certain pipe in the garage so it wouldn't freeze. Pretty considerate for a killer.
A killer suggestion?

Alternative suggestion:

You should have told him “I bet you a dollar it doesn’t freeze.”

Not 'in' the house, but my neighbor's home had a grizzly murder that became pretty famous making national headlines some time ago.

Raped and stabbed 28 times.

> Million dollar home that was sold for a huge discount.

My BIL used to own and rent out the house where that guy killed his family and himself a few years ago in Marrerro.

I've bought 3 houses in my lifetime and have lived in 2 that had people die in them----my first house and my current house. However, none of them were murdered.

The first house was the one my dad died in when I was a kid and I eventually bought it in my early 20's. My current home had one of the occupants commit suicide by hanging is the story I got from older neighbors when I first bought the house in 92.

People die at home all the time.

And hotels.

And casinos.

And in apartments.

Not to mention other assorted felonies on a routine basis.

Anyone who has ever dealt with property management or hotels can tell you stories about the things that happen all around us that we often never hear about, but pre social media in particular was a different world.

I did back in the day. Had no idea until after I moved away and came across a news article about it. We knew that it happened but thought that it was in the house across town. Lady was pregnant and murdered by her boyfriend. Super sad story.

Is it that lady that had all the kids and her husband killed her?

No but a somewhat related story from a couple decades ago I just remembered.

I was on a work trip staying in a hotel. Drury Inn I believe. Had the first floor corner room. Late one night one of those unsolved murder mysteries was on TV about some hooker being slaughtered. While watching them describing the setting and showing crime scene photos I come to realize the hooker was cut to pieces in the room I was staying in.

Luckily I had already fapped for the night.

No, but I narrowly escaped being part of a murder. When I was in the 6th grade, a girl friend of mine invited me over to hang out with her on a Friday night. I was on my way over there and I got a flat on my bike, so I went back home. Her, her sister, and another friend that went over there were all murdered by a family friend. Heard about it Monday back at school and was shocked.
